“ First time here. Take out only. The gentleman preparing the sushi was super nice. The sushi was great! I ordered the Volcano and the Spicy Scallop. Definitely coming back. ”
“ We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The prices are an extremely good deal for the portions (huge) and quality of food. This is probably one of my favorite sushi places. The hours can be a little unregular as there is only one sushi chef. We always check they are open before we go. Totally worth it though! ”
“ Impeccabile. I've had it 4 or 5 times now and each time I think to myself, "best sushi I've ever had and consistently good." Do yourself a favor and try it for yourself. ”
“ Though only limitedly open, Mr. Lee prepares the best sushi that I have ever had in my area (and outside of it in many cases). His prices are extremely affordable, a large menu from which to choose from and he provides excellent service to you either as you wait or for carryout. He is very friendly and I've noticed, while waiting for my food to be prepared, that he has many repeat customers (besides myself) with whom he greets warmly. ”
“ One of the best bang for buck sushi places in SE Michigan. The rice was on point and the portions of fish on the nigiri and in the rolls was solid, bordering generous. Basically one chef doing everything, so service is a little slow, but also means that each item is personally prepared and made by him. Chef has a rough exterior and demeanor but is a softie inside so don’t be intimidated. Only thing to keep in mind is that the seating is somewhat limited, so no great for big crowds. ”
“ Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious sushi in the metro area. Delicious. Take out only ”
“ By far the best sushi place I have tried. The food taste fresh and good. Definitely try the JRRoll it is worth the wait. Looking to try every item on the menu. ”
“ This little sushi place is my all time favorite!!! I’ve been going for years. There’s usually only 1 chef working there, the owner, so if it’s busy it can take a while for the order to be ready. Best to call your order in. It’s 100% worth the wait though. He takes great care and pride in making his rolls and it shows. You’ll find rolls you won’t get anywhere else. You have to try the Crazy Love roll - it’s divine! My mom is from San Diego and when she visits she wants to get Crazy Sushi ”
